What is NexaLink, exactly?

Is this a subscription or a one-time payment?

It does not mean every brand-new paid feature forever — new metered capabilities (like in-app cloud AI) can be sold outside the deal. Your tier's core entitlements stay yours.

Tiers, seats & upgrades

What do the Solo, Team, and Business tiers each include?

Solo ($19) and Team ($49) both unlock the Pro plan; Business ($249) unlocks Premium. Solo is 1 seat. Team is 10 seats and adds a shared team dashboard with brand-locked fields, CSV export, and priority support. Business is 50 seats and adds custom domain, branding removal, Apple & Google Wallet passes, advanced analytics, role permissions, SSO-lite, and API access.

Is the Team tier Pro or Premium?

Team is Pro, not Premium. It's the Pro plan with 10 seats plus a team dashboard with brand-locked fields, CSV export, and priority support. Premium-only features — custom domain, branding removal, and advanced analytics — sit on the Business tier. If you specifically need your own domain or branding removed, choose Business, not Team.

How many seats does each tier include?

Solo includes 1 seat, Team includes 10 seats, and Business includes 50 seats. A “seat” is one team member with their own login, card, and CRM under your account. Team and Business owners invite and manage those seats from the team dashboard after redeeming their code.

Can I stack codes or buy multiples to get more seats?

AppSumo lifetime deals are often stackable, but the exact stacking rules and seat math are set on the AppSumo listing — read the “stackable” note there before buying multiples. If you need more than Business's 50 seats or org-wide provisioning, contact NexaLink about a larger arrangement rather than stacking many small codes.

How do I add, remove, or reassign seats?

Team and Business owners manage seats from the team dashboard: invite a member by email, revoke a seat to free it, and assign a freed seat to someone new. Removing a member releases their seat back into your pool. Each active seat maps to one Pro (Team) or Premium (Business) login.

I bought Team but now need Business — can I upgrade tiers?

Tier changes on AppSumo deals are handled through the AppSumo listing (upgrade/downgrade options appear there while the deal is live), not billed by NexaLink as a subscription. If you outgrow Team's 10 seats or need Premium features, moving to Business (50 seats + custom domain + API) is the path — check the listing's upgrade terms or contact support.

AI, MCP & “bring your own AI”

Does the AppSumo deal include AI?

Your AI runs on your own Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor over MCP — on your tokens, with no metered fees from NexaLink. The deal does not bundle in-app, NexaLink-billed AI (AI bio, cloud note summaries, follow-up drafts, cloud OCR refine); that's a separate paid Premium subscription and is excluded on every lifetime tier, including Business.

What is MCP, and how do I connect NexaLink to Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor?

MCP (the Model Context Protocol) lets your AI assistant talk to NexaLink directly. You connect once: open the MCP setup on nexalink.co, authorize the connector inside Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor, and your contacts, cards, and notes become things your assistant can read and act on. What can I actually ask my AI to do over MCP?

Once connected, you can ask things like “who did I meet at the conference and haven't followed up with?”, “draft a warm follow-up to Priya”, “who's overdue for a check-in?”, or “add a note to David's contact.” The inference runs on your Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor subscription, so there's no per-message charge from NexaLink. Is the in-app NexaLink AI (AI bio, note summaries) part of the deal?

No. In-app, NexaLink-billed AI — AI bio generation, cloud note summaries and action items, follow-up drafts, and cloud OCR refine — runs on our own AI keys and is a paid Premium subscription. It's excluded from every lifetime tier, including Business. You generally don't need it: over MCP, your own assistant does the same work on your tokens.

Why can NexaLink offer AI without metered fees when other deals can't?

Because the AI isn't ours to meter. With bring-your-own-AI over MCP, the cost of every prompt sits on the Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor subscription you already pay for — NexaLink never touches a paid AI API on your behalf. Features & monthly limits

Is the business-card scanner included?

Yes — every tier includes the on-device business-card scanner, which reads a paper card and files it as a CRM contact with multilingual OCR and automatic dedupe. Processing happens on your device, so it's private and fast. On-device scanning is shipping now. The optional cloud OCR refine step is Premium-subscription and is not part of the deal.

Do voice notes transcribe on the lifetime tiers?

Yes. Voice notes with on-device transcription are free on every tier — record a note on a contact after a meeting and it's transcribed locally on your device. Turning that transcript into an AI summary or action items with NexaLink's cloud AI is Premium-subscription, but you can summarize it yourself over MCP with your own assistant.

Can I use my own custom domain or remove NexaLink branding?

Only on Business (Premium). Custom domain — serving your cards on your own domain — and NexaLink branding removal are Premium features, so they come with the Business tier. Solo and Team keep NexaLink branding on the card. If a white-labeled card matters to you, choose Business rather than Solo or Team.

What are the monthly scan, voice-note, and contact limits per tier?

Solo: 50 scans/mo, 10 voice notes/mo, 500 contacts. Team: 500 scans/mo, 100 voice notes/mo, 25,000 contacts. Business: 2,000 scans/mo, 500 voice notes/mo, and unlimited contacts. Scan and voice-note allowances reset each month; the contact number is your total stored contacts. These allowances are generous for typical networking volume — the higher tiers are for heavy scanning and large teams.

Can I export my contacts?

CSV export is included on Team and Business — download your contact directory anytime for backup or import into another system. Solo doesn't include CSV export, but over MCP you can still have your own assistant read and reformat your contacts. Either way, your data is yours: nothing is locked in.

Does the deal include a digital card with QR, NFC, and a custom URL?

Yes, on every tier. Your card carries a QR code, an NFC tap, and a custom URL (nexalink.co/yourname), so you can share it by scan, tap, or link — and the people who receive it don't need the app. On Business (Premium) you can also add Apple & Google Wallet passes, serve that card on your own custom domain, and remove NexaLink branding.

Redemption, accounts & troubleshooting

How do I redeem my AppSumo code?

Three steps: (1) buy your tier on AppSumo; (2) click “Redeem” — you land on nexalink.co, sign in or create a free account, and authorize your code; (3) your account upgrades instantly across web, iOS, and Android (synced via RevenueCat). Team and Business owners then invite their seats from the dashboard. No subscription is ever created.

I already have a free NexaLink account — will redeeming upgrade it?

Yes. Redeem while signed in to your existing account and it upgrades in place — your contacts, cards, and notes stay exactly as they are, now on your new tier. You don't need to create a second account or migrate anything. Just make sure you're redeeming on the account you actually use day to day.

Does redeeming charge my card or start a subscription?

No. Redemption only applies your lifetime entitlement to your account — NexaLink never creates a subscription or charges a card during redemption. You already paid AppSumo once; nothing else is billed. If you're ever prompted for a payment during redemption, stop and contact support, because that isn't the normal flow.

My code didn't work, or my app still shows the free tier — what do I do?

Refunds, data & company trust

Is there a money-back guarantee, and how do I request a refund?
