How is attribution tracked?
By code, not cookie. You get a unique tracking code (and a nexalink.co/r/your-code link that drops people on the download page). Your followers enter your code when they sign up in the NexaLink app — that ties their account to you.
When that account later upgrades to a paid plan, the conversion attributes to your code. This is Phase 1, so attribution and commission are reconciled by us directly — no dashboard login or pixel to set up on your end.
How and when do I get paid?
Commission is 40% one-time (50% for strategic partners) per paid conversion. We reconcile conversions against your code and pay out via Wise or PayPal — you tell us your preference when you're approved.
v1 is deliberately simple and manual: no automated dashboard payouts yet. As volume grows we'll add self-serve reporting.
Why 40% instead of the standard SaaS 20-30%?
Most SaaS pays 20-30% recurring on a monthly subscription. We pay 40% one-time on a paid conversion — no recurring tail, so the percentage has to be higher to make the math work for creators.
The trade-off is honest: a single, larger payout per conversion instead of a thin slice dripped out over months. No churn eating your future income.
Is there a discount for my followers?
Not in Phase 1. This version is attribution-only — your code tracks who you referred so you get paid; it doesn't apply a follower discount yet. A follower-facing offer is on the roadmap.
Can I promote on multiple platforms?
Yes — no exclusivity. Share your code on LinkedIn, YouTube, X, your newsletter, TikTok, podcasts, or your blog. The only rules: no incentivized clicks (cashback / paid-to-click) and no trademark bidding on "NexaLink" in paid search.
How does billing work — is this a web checkout?
NexaLink's paid plans are billed through in-app purchase on iOS and Android. Your followers download the app, sign up, enter your code, and upgrade inside the app. There's no separate web checkout to send them to.
