Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") sets out what you may and may not do with NexaLink, operated by Mendios Technologies (webMOBI). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions, and applies to everyone who uses the Service — on the free plan as well as any paid plan.
A NexaLink card is published at a public web address on our domain. That means what you publish reflects on every other customer who shares a link with the same domain in it. Most of this Policy follows from that single fact.
1. Your card must be a real contact card
A NexaLink card exists so a real person or organisation can be contacted. You may create a card for yourself, for a colleague you are authorised to represent, or for a business you operate.
You may not create a card that is, in substance, something else. In particular:
- A landing page, advertisement, or marketing page dressed as a contact card.
- A page whose main purpose is to carry a link to another website.
- A card for a person or business that does not exist, or that you have no authority to represent.
- A card whose name, title, or biography is written for search engines rather than for a human reader.
2. Prohibited content
Do not publish, upload, or link to content that:
- Is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates unlawful activity.
- Is sexually explicit or pornographic, or advertises adult or sexual services — including phone-sex lines, escort services, webcam or fan-subscription platforms, and links to any of these. This applies whether or not the underlying business is lawful where it operates.
- Is discriminatory, harassing, or abusive toward any individual or group.
- Depicts or glorifies violence, or incites others to it.
- Infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, patent, or trade secret — including links to pirated films, television, music, software, or books.
- Is deliberately false or deceptive in a way likely to cause harm, including impersonating another person, company, or brand.
- Contains malware, or attempts to phish, harvest credentials, or defraud.
- Discloses someone else's personal information without their consent.
3. Search engines, links, and SEO
This section exists because it is the abuse we see most often. NexaLink publishes on an established domain, and some operators create cards purely to borrow that domain's standing with search engines. That practice degrades search results for every legitimate customer, and search engines penalise the whole domain for it — not just the offending page.
You may not:
- Create cards in order to build backlinks, pass authority, or influence the ranking of any other website.
- Stuff a card's name, address, biography, or any other field with keywords or locations.
- Create multiple accounts or cards to publish near-identical pages targeting different search terms or cities.
- Sell, resell, or offer card creation on NexaLink as a link-building, guest-posting, or SEO service.
- Point external backlinks at a card for the purpose of having it indexed and ranked.
Card pages are not indexed by search engines
So that there is no ambiguity: every NexaLink card page is served to search engines with a noindex, nofollow instruction, and no card page appears in our sitemap. This applies to every card on every plan, free and paid alike. Paying, waiting, aging an account, or creating many accounts does not change it.
There is therefore no search-ranking benefit to be had from publishing a card here, by anyone, at all. If that is why you are creating cards, this is not the platform for it.
This restriction applies to user card pages only. Our own pages — guides, directories, comparisons and tools — are indexed normally.
4. Accounts and automated activity
Do not:
- Create accounts in bulk, by automated means, or using disposable or deliberately disguised email addresses.
- Create multiple accounts to evade a limit, a suspension, or this Policy.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service by automated means, including harvesting contact details published by other users.
- Interfere with the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or attempt to access data that is not yours.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages using contact details obtained through the Service.
Contacts you capture through NexaLink belong to the relationship you have with those people. Applicable privacy and anti-spam law — including the GDPR and CAN-SPAM — governs what you may then do with them, and remains your responsibility.
5. How we enforce this
We would rather correct a misunderstanding than remove an account, and for a genuine business that has stepped over a line we will normally get in touch first. Where content is clearly abusive, we act without notice.
Depending on what we find, we may:
- Remove a card from search engines and from our sitemap.
- Unpublish a card, so its link no longer resolves publicly.
- Suspend or permanently close the account, and any related accounts.
- Report the matter to the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
Accounts closed for a breach of this Policy are not refunded. If you believe we have acted in error, write to us at support@nexalink.co and a person will review it.
6. Reporting abuse
If you find a NexaLink card that breaks this Policy, send the link to support@nexalink.co. Reports about intellectual property should identify the work and the page concerned so we can act on them quickly.
7. Changes to this Policy
We update this Policy as new kinds of abuse appear. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
