Enter your LinkedIn URL or handle to generate the QR

Download or copy

No signup. No watermark. The PNG/SVG live entirely in your browser — nothing uploads to a server.

Why a QR code beats typing the URL

The friction in any LinkedIn connection request is the typing — find their name, search, request, note. A QR code reduces that to one tap: scan, connect, done. In moment-of-meeting contexts (booth conversations, meetings, conferences), this changes acceptance rate from ~60% (you'll-find-me-later) to ~95% (in-the-moment scan).

What this tool generates

A standards-compliant QR code (Level M error correction, 248×248 px on screen, exportable to 1024×1024 PNG or vector SVG). The QR encodes your LinkedIn profile URL — when scanned by any modern phone camera, it opens LinkedIn directly. Works whether the visitor has the LinkedIn app or just a browser.

PNG vs. SVG — which to download?

PNG (1024×1024) for most uses: business card design, slide deck final-page, LinkedIn banner. SVG for print-shop work where you need lossless scaling — the QR will render crisp at any size from a 1-inch business-card spot to a 6-foot trade-show backdrop. Both are watermark-free and yours to use commercially.

Where to put the QR (placement that converts)

Business card: back of the card, top-right corner, 1-1.5 inch square (25-38 mm). LinkedIn banner: right side, 250×250 px. Slide decks: final 'thanks' slide, lower-right corner. Stickers / badges: 30×30 mm minimum. The pattern: contrasting background, label as 'Scan to Connect' or 'Save Contact,' avoid putting it where coffee-cups can land on it.

Frequently asked questions

Do you store my LinkedIn URL?

No. The QR generation runs entirely in your browser — your input never reaches a server. We don't log it, store it, or attach it to any analytics event. The QR + URL exist only in your tab.

Can I use the QR commercially?

Yes — fully unrestricted. Drop it on your business cards, slide decks, banners, conference materials, anywhere. The generated QR has no watermark and is yours to use however you want.

Why is there no logo / color customization?

Two reasons. (1) Most QR-with-logo overlays compromise scan reliability in low-light conference settings — error rates climb fast above 25% logo coverage. (2) The point of the QR is the action, not the aesthetic; a clean black-on-white QR scans 99%+ on any phone, while a fancy gradient version drops to 80% in dim ballrooms. NexaLink's mobile app does support center-logo QRs if you want them — but for the business card use case, clean is better.

What if my LinkedIn handle has special characters?

Standard LinkedIn handles are alphanumeric + hyphen only. If yours has those, this generator handles them fine. If your URL has tracking parameters or extra path segments (e.g., from a 'Share Profile' link), paste the full URL — the QR encodes it as-is.

Does the QR break if I change my LinkedIn handle later?

LinkedIn auto-redirects old handles to new ones, so the QR keeps working even if you change your handle. The only failure case is if you delete your LinkedIn account entirely. To future-proof, you can encode a NexaLink-hosted deep-link instead (nexalink.co/yourname) — that URL stays stable even if you change LinkedIn handles or delete the account.

Want to scan other people's QRs too?

NexaLink's mobile app reads LinkedIn QRs, vCard QRs, and standard business cards — and saves them straight to your CRM with event auto-tagging. Free on iOS + Android.
