How to set it up

1. 1. Build and brand your card

/app/card/edit

  1. Go to /app/card/edit and fill in your name, title, company, department, bio, and tagline.
  2. Add up to 20 links across social, messaging, and payment - plus highlights, testimonials, and a banner.
  3. Pick any profession template (all are unlocked on Business) and set your custom brand colors.
  4. Tap 'Generate with AI' on the bio field if you'd like AI to draft it for you.
  5. Set a custom slug so your link reads cleanly (e.g. /c/yourname).

On Business, NexaLink branding is removed - your cards are fully white-label.

2. 2. Set your team brand and lock it

/app/team

  1. Open /app/team and go to the 'Brand & Templates' tab.
  2. Upload your logo and banner, set the brand color, company, website, and email domain.
  3. Use the per-field LOCK to prevent members from changing approved brand fields.
  4. Click 'Sync to all members' to push the brand to every card on the team.
  5. Switch to the 'Members' tab to invite teammates or remove access.

Locking + Sync keeps every card on-brand without manual edits per person.

3. 3. Connect your custom domain

  1. Read the step-by-step reference at /guides/website/custom-domain.
  2. Enter your domain in the NexaLink mobile app under your card/domain settings.
  3. Add the CNAME record shown to your DNS provider.
  4. Wait for DNS to verify (this can take up to a few hours), then confirm in the app.
  5. Your Business plan includes 1 custom domain; upgrade to Agency if you need more.

4. 4. Add Wallet passes and share

/app/card

  1. Open /app/card to view your QR code and share link.
  2. Enable the Apple/Google Wallet pass so contacts can save your card to their phone.
  3. Use the mobile app for NFC tap-to-share at events.
  4. Share your QR code or short link anywhere - email, slides, or print.

Wallet passes and NFC are included on Business.

5. 5. Set up CRM and Lead Capture

/app/contacts

  1. Go to /app/contacts and switch between My / Team / All scopes to manage contacts.
  2. Use /app/contact-import (under /app/tools) to import existing contacts, and export anytime.
  3. In /app/team, open the 'Lead Capture' tab and define a campaign with a date window.
  4. Contacts captured during the window are auto-tagged so you can filter and measure ROI.
  5. Add AI notes to contacts to capture context after each conversation.

Lead Capture and team CRM scopes are included with your multi-seat Business plan.

6. 6. Track performance with advanced analytics

/app/card/analytics

  1. Open /app/card/analytics for views, taps, and engagement over a 365-day window.
  2. Review device, geography, and referrer breakdowns to see what's driving views.
  3. Check /app/viewers to see who viewed your card and follow up on leads.
  4. Manage your plan, roles, and account in /app/settings.

Advanced (device/geo/referrer) analytics and the 365-day window are Business-tier features.

Tips

  • Lock brand fields before you invite the team - that way every new member's card is on-brand from day one.
  • Run 'Sync to all members' after any brand change so existing cards update too, not just new ones.
  • Create a Lead Capture campaign before each event so booth contacts are auto-tagged for clean ROI reporting.
